Fight or Flight

The fight-or-flight response is a physiological reaction that occurs in response to a perceived harmful event, attack, or threat to survival. Unfortunately this very valuable response mechanism is now often used inappropriately.

For some this response system is triggered when going into a busy place such as a supermarket or when attempting to go a little further from home than is the norm. This response system can leave you feeling that you have no control over yourself and that it is taking over your life. It may seem that day by day what you're able to do without feeling anxious is becoming less and less.

I have helped many people to break free of anxiety and panic so that they are able to gradually regain their ability to live the life they want.

Confidence

Your Best Self

Confidence is a state of mind. Confidence comes from a latin word fidere' which means "to trust"; having self-confidence is having trust in yourself.

We all have self confidence but sometimes we just forget how to use it. Not using self confidence can cost much, both personally and professionally, so many opportunities are missed and often not even considered.

Being confident can help you to make instant connections and build relationships that will help you to succeed.

To be self confident you're going to learn how to change your state. Your state is basically your mood at any given time of day.

Using various techniques I will show you how you had confidence all along and how to supercharge it.

Phobia's

Irrational Fears

A phobia is experienced as an overwhelming fear which initially appears to be in relation to a place, situation, feeling or animal.

Phobias are far more intense than fears. Fears tend to form over a period of time whereas a phobia tends to form extremely quickly. If you have a phobia I suspect you try to organise your life in a way to avoid the thing that's appears to cause an overwhelming sense of anxiety.

The NHS website lists the following symptoms which may be experienced by those with a phobia.
Unsteadiness, dizziness and light-headedness,
nausea, sweating, increased heart rate or palpitations, shortness of breath, trembling or shaking and an upset stomach.

Over the years I have helped many people rid themselves of fears and phobias. Basic phobia's such as those of an object or animal are often eliminated in just one session. Those phobia's that are more complex such as agoraphobia or social phobia generally take a little longer.

When helping with phobia's I use a combination of techniques such as Havening, Hypnosis, NLP and TFT.
